Order of
Service
Our wedding
service was pretty straightforward except for one
thing: we did it in two languages! This meant that
what would normally have taken 30 minutes took just
about one hour. In fact, we had to make sure that
the service wouldn't run over an hour so that the
video tapes wouldn't run out! (They
didn't)
Even though we
wrote out the text of the whole service in both
English and Japanese, there were some fun moments
when Pei Kang Dai and I had had some quiet
exchanges: "OK, what comes next?"
In the end,
everything came off without a problem, and 100 of
our friends, family and acquaintences witnessed our
exchange of vows and rings.
The full text of
our wedding service is contained in the

Service
