Kamegai Here we are
sitting at the front of the room. The big character
behind us is the chinese character for "Dreams",
suggesting the big dreams we have for our future
together. There were ikebana flower arrangements
all around the Inn, and the one behind us here
displayed lots of green (Japanese) maple leaves,
suggesting the height of the summer
season. Midori and I wore
"Yukatas" for our reception, a "Yukata" being the
traditional evening garment in Japan and commonly
worn at hot springs in Japan. Since our guests
would be wearing yukatas provided by the Inn we
decided to get a pair of special Yukatas for us to
wear together. |
