Tulamben - Reality vs. Photography
One of my fears
in life is spending a lot of money on something not
knowing what I am going to get. I have learned that
pictures can be extremely misleading, particularly
pictures in resort brochures or travel magazines.
Having learned a thing or two about using
Photoshop, I can now easily pick out copy/pasted
sunsets from real ones in resort advertising copy.
Tourist beware!
On the one hand,
there are times where reality actually one-ups the
marketing department. I have to admit that both
Myojinkan
at Tobira hot
spring
(where we had our wedding reception) and
Four
Seasons at Jimbaran
Bay (our
honemoon villa) both far exceeded our expectations.
Their pamphlets and brochures do not do justice to
the quality of their offering.
And then there is
Mimpi Resort Tulamben. I have taken my own crack at
"resort photography" here above so that you too can
be deceived!
