Please take note of the lack of a mosquito net here. That is not because there are no mosquitos in Sayan. It is because there are frogs in Sayan. Lots of frogs. Frogs in the river, frogs in the ponds, and frogs in the rice fields. Most of you are wondering whether having 1,500 or so frogs would keep the mosquitos down for a good night's sleep? Let's just say that there are frogs in Muskoka, too. Not much good for all the frogs to be kept outside when all the mosquitos are inside keeping warm. Besides, Midori doesn't like frogs. The Johnson & Johnson company has some nifty products with lengthy and hard to pronounce ingredient lists just for such situations however, and we chose to make good use of them to supplement the "natural" measures provided by our resort.
