Here we have the first example of Sayan's unique architectural material: moss, mould, and mildew. As you can see, the green stuff is growing all over the walls and buildings of the Four Season's Resort at Sayan. As Midori and I approached the resort, I commented that the Sayan resort must be about 20 years old. Midori countered by saying that the brochure assured us that it was built only a year or two ago. I figured they meant that they took over a 20 year old Holiday Inn facility or something two or so years ago, but when I checked at the desk it turns out she was right. Take a look at those walls again: that's only two years of growth!
