This is the "spa at Tulamben" and Midori is enjoying a "massage". The Balinese are great salespeople. They knew enough that the resort would not be happy with their using the resort's facilities to ply their trade so they approached Midori directly from the beach, calling out: "massage, massage?" They even brought their own bench! Midori claims that this woman's technique was not the greatest. I figure that with what Midori paid her in cash, this woman probably took a month's paid holiday.
