One of our constant companions when travelling in Bali were the dog? lion? gargoyle? evil beast? whatchamacallit sculptures and carvings everywhere. As many of you are aware, I have had a particularly difficult relationship with canines. I assure you however that these ones in Bali are OK, as they are all safely calcified and growing moss. I have concluded after careful consideration that there is very little chance of getting nipped in the buttocks by one of these beasts.
