These stone effigies were in our little enclosed area next to the outdoor shower. I think our friend, pastor (and dental surgeon) Peikang Dai would have a field day on these guys. Let's hope the sculptures weren't based on actual models. Using my digital camera so extensively on this trip taught me some things about its limitations. One of the things that caught my attention was that noise sometimes gets into the picture. Consider for example the pink-coloured (magenta) artifacts in the top left of the photo that the special-effects engineers at Olympus designed into the software.
