Departure
Midori and I
headed off to Bali not really knowing what we would
find when we got there. I had left most of the
planning up to Midori, and had neglected to even
take a look on a map to see where we would be
going. I kind of knew it was somewhere "down there"
in Southeast Asia, relative to Japan.
You can imagine
my shock when I took a look at the TV screens in
the airplane as we traced a route south of the
Equator, and the North tip of Australia showed up
on our screen.
